NHS Prescription Charges Increase

From 1st May 2024, the prescription charge for each medicine or appliance dispensed is increasing by 25 pence to £9.90.

The cost of pre-payment certificates (PPCs) are also increasing.

The new charges from 1st May 2024 are:

Single prescription charge: £9.90

3-month PPC: £32.05

12-month PPC: £114.50

HRT PPC: £19.80
